Vasstech Darlington opened in May 2011, led by our Director Alex Robinson (who also leads our Teesside branch), with the main aim to be the kind of garage local drivers could rely on.
Today, with five ramps and a fully equipped workshop, we look after everything from MOTs, servicing and diagnostics to wheel alignment, air conditioning, exhausts and more involved repairs. VW, Audi, Skoda, SEAT and CUPRA vehicles are our specialist area, but we’re just as happy working on all makes and models. For us, it’s never been about overcomplicating things or hiding behind jargon. We’re not here to dress things up or talk in circles. We’ll tell you what’s going on, what needs doing, and get the work done properly, so you can drive away without second-guessing it.

Do I need to book, or can I turn up?
As with most places, it’s often best to book so we can set time aside for your car properly. However, we have time aside for some same-day MOTs if you check here, and if it’s an urgent problem, give us a call and we’ll see what’s possible.
Do you have parking?
Yes, there’s parking available on-site, so dropping your car off is easy.
Can I wait while my car is being worked on?
Yes, you’re welcome to wait with us while we work on your car. We’ve got WiFi if you want to get your laptop out and work, plenty of tea and coffee and our front desk team are always up for a chat (if you want one!)
