My motor industry journey began in ’98 at family-run VW dealer, Massingberds, in Northallerton, after spending years in hotel and catering.

Starting at Vasstech

Due to my background in hospitality, I’ve always prided myself on my ability to communicate with customers. A job behind the service desk at Vasstech Northallerton came up in 2011, and although I had little experience in this kind of customer service, I liked cars, so I just thought…why not?

I landed the job and didn’t look back. Climbing the ranks, I became a Senior Service Advisor and earned the inaugural employee of the year award. With 12 years at the main dealer, I gained extensive Volkswagen training.

At Vasstech, customer experience is paramount. Building trust and long-term relationships matter most – I’ve connected with customers for over a number years, ensuring a first-class experience at our garages.

I know that coming into a garage can be a daunting experience for many, so I’m incredibly passionate about giving all our customers a first class experience when they come to Vasstech.

Creating a cohesive team centered on communication ensures smooth operations daily.

Cannot rate this garage highly enough! They have now helped me 3 times this year due to my rather problematic Seat Ibiza. Each time they have exceeded expectations on customer service, being really quick to diagnose and deal with the problems. They also made my life a lot easier by liaising with the warranty company for me. I doubt I will use another garage in the area and would recommend wholeheartedly to a friend.

Rang vasstech Northallerton due to smoke coming from my bonnet of the car, they told me to take it down and they would have a look. A couple of hours later I got a call back and the problem was explained to me. I wasn’t charged for them having a look and they squeezed a little stressed me in!
