Yorkshire Ride Owt
A Ride for a Brilliant Cause – Yorkshire Children’s Charity
On 21st May , Craig and Paul took part in the much-anticipated “Yorkshire Ride Owt” in support of the Yorkshire Children’s Charity – a fantastic organisation that raises over £6,500 to help disadvantaged local children across the region.

How it began…
The day began at the impressive Bowcliffe Hall, where riders gathered for briefing, final preparations, and a shared sense of excitement before heading out in convoy. From there, the group set off on a spectacular 180-mile route through the heart of Yorkshire, taking in a variety of scenic roads, sweeping landscapes, and classic riding stretches.

Along the way…
Midway through the ride, the convoy paused for a well-earned pit stop and regroup at Masham, giving everyone a chance to refuel, catch up, and enjoy the atmosphere before continuing the journey. The camaraderie throughout the day was evident, with riders from all backgrounds coming together for a shared cause and a shared passion for two wheels.
Adding to the occasion was BSB Champion Kyle Ryde, who brought an extra layer of excitement to the event by taking part on a monkey bike while still on L plates, having only passed his CBT weeks earlier! His involvement added a great memory to an already special day!
Also joining the ride was well-known commentator and TV presenter James Whitham, who was a real highlight for the day. The ride day concluded with a Q&A session hosted by local Northallerton BSB commentator Larry Carter, offering stories, and plenty of entertainment to round off a fantastic day.

What made it special
Most importantly, the event brought together a brilliant community of riders and supporters, all united in helping raise vital funds for the Yorkshire Children’s Charity. It was a day defined by great roads, great company, and a genuinely meaningful purpose – one that we were proud to be part of.
