Importance of Vehicle Servicing…
30th August 2013What our customers say
Terrible carelessness and lack of attention to detail, will avoid these people from now on. Had my car serviced twice over two years. First time, I noticed the pollen cabin filter was loose and hanging off, I pushed it back in and put the matter to rest. One month ago, I had my car serviced the second time, I had to return within a week when I tested the oil level and found that they’d overfilled it and spilt oil on the engine cover (they claimed it was a small amount of oil and I believe this, but it was past the dimple on the dipstick which is there specifically to show the oil being overfilled, so this was not acceptable). Again, I brushed this off. I have come back a second time now because the service interval reminder on my car was flashing post service. Whoever had serviced my car also forgot to reset this. In their defence they fixed both the above issues but it is quite frankly ridiculous to pay £400 for a specialist service and have such glaringly careless errors. Having to come back twice is a waste of my time and money but I’m just glad that I did not have them do any major work as I have lost all confidence and will be going to another specialist.
I recently bought a second hand car that desperately needed a service and was due an MOT. The team at Vasstech, from the reception to the mechanic did an amazing job at explaining what needed doing and fixing any issues. As someone who knows nothing about cars, finding a mechanics you can trust is important, and I have found one as Vasstech. Thanks again.
Had cambelt, water pump and springs done (with OEM parts) on an Octavia, cheaper, faster and better service than main dealer. More recently had problems with assist systems on a new Superb; main dealers hopeless, VASSTech sorted it in a few hours.
Have my usual service and MOT done at Vasstech every year but whenever anything crops up they are always available to help. I’ve had a handful of issues ranging in severity this year and Matt has always had the car in to sort immediately. Great work and really efficient service. Call up to pay and the receptionist is lovely too. Would recommend to anyone.
Absolutely fantastic. Our campervan was recovered from a nearby motorway after breaking down and brought here. I explained the issue on the day and Brett managed to give us a great temporary fix within the hour which got us to exactly where we needed to be and further. It was exactly what we needed and done a lot sooner than any other garage in the area could even offer. Could not recommend the service enough and would definitely come here again!
